For this project, I had the opportunity to create a captivating and visually appealing sticker design for Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute. The goal was to design a sticker that not only represented the brand's identity but also captured the attention of its target audience, mainly students. With careful consideration of the company's values and aesthetics, I aimed to create a design that would leave a lasting impression.
Design Concept
The design concept for the sticker revolved around the company's core themes and branding. Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute is located on the beautiful UC San Diego campus and HDSI's brand is inspired by the stunning beachy campus and vibrant community. This can be seen foremost in the circle sticker design that utilizes a mix of ocean blues and a vibrant sunny yellow. HDSI is also heavily involved in the tech industry, an aspect that is highlighted in the square computer chip design.
Conclusion
Designing stickers for Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute was an exciting project that allowed me to showcase the brand's identity and values through visual elements. The combination of colors, typography, illustrations, and layout created a unique and impactful design. I am confident that the stickers have contributed to the company's overall brand recognition and resonated with its target audience as we have had lots of positive feedback and have ran out of the stickers at almost every event.
